Srixon Q Star Tour
Tour-Caliber Performance For Average Swing Speeds
Q-Star golf balls have been extremely popular for the last several years, but Srixon wanted to build on the franchise from a performance standpoint. More specifically, it wanted to develop a golf ball that would give golfers with more modest swing speeds the same performance that higher compression Tour balls offer on full shots without having to sacrifice greenside spin and control. And Srixon believes it has accomplished that goal with the brand new Q-Star Tour golf ball. A three-piece ball with a soft urethane cover and a compression of 75, the Q-Star offers exceptional feel on all shots, as well as enhanced greenside spin. The cover helps promote spin as does Srixon’s proprietary Spin Skin coating, which helps create more friction at impact. That said, the Q-Star still delivers impressive distance on full shots, most notably off the tee, thanks to its Energetic Gradient Growth Core, which has been designed for maximum energy transfer. Additionally, an aerodynamic 324 dimple pattern enables a consistent ball flight, even in windy conditions.
